Transformational Facilitator

From 1 hr lectures to 12 day immersive experiences, I have been offering various transformational journeys for people, mostly women, over the years. The first sisterhood retreat I organized and facilitated was at my family farm for my sorority sisters from my tiny liberal arts college in Montgomery, Alabama.

After 5 years in the beauty industry and a stint in the Peace Corps, I helped organize Community Based Eco-Tours in Southern Thailand. I eventually dropped that work to devote my life to yoga and tantra, dance and transpersonal psychology.

That's when I knew I wanted to work with women again. It had helped me so much. I recognized safe-enough places to unwind the bullshit, I found space to heal. Ultimately, to feel more. To soften. It helped me start to heal my relationshit with the abusive voices in my head. The mean girl I have in residence up there. It helped me by watching and listening to those around me who were happy. Who were already learning to love themselves. Who were being gentle on themselves. While also not collapsing. Having & holding respected boundaries. Who lived with the First Rule 1st: Self-Care.

Joining the Tao Tantric Arts lineage and participating in transformational studies with Kute Blackson were foundational to my understanding of working with energy.

My capstone project is a women's center in Koh Phangan, Thailand, where I welcomed women for an afternoon group practice or - my favorite - a healing three-day sacred sexuality retreat in nature (which I helped host four times since 2019). I started an online community that grew in number to 2000+ members who practice in prayer, sisterhood, body appreciation, and self-love together.
